Our free podcast of Ruby 5 will be starting in a week. If you can view album art with your MP3 player you will be able to see the illustrations we created 10 years ago for the webcast of Ruby 5 that we did as a promo for Apple's QuickTime 3.0 product launch. There's a different illustration for each day. At the moment the first episode is in place so you can test your subscription links. Enjoy!

I'm not one to usually write fanfic; I tend to rail against it. But I wrote this despite myself. It's rather non-canon, and in a different style than Fulton's, but I hope it isn't too bad. Sort of a work in progress, in that it doesn't have an end, though I'm not sure if I will actually continue it.

I have only listened up to Ruby 4, and haven't listened to anything but the original Ruby in 7 or 8 years, so any blatant contradictions with the continuity of the later series probably stem from that. That said, here it is...

Origins. 3360 words. Contains non-explicit sexuality, including reference to prostitution and sex involving minorsCollapse )

Another icon, even more obscure...

Also, I'm working on something which I might have at least part of ready to post tonight... did somebody say fanfic? XP

Just in case you've ever wanted ridiculously obscure icons that nobody but yourself and maybe two or three other people will ever get, I made a few.

Some fan-art I made today just playing around with spare time:

I'm experimenting with inking on the computer... I'm obviously not so great at it yet, but it was fun.

This might be slightly gauche, but my iTunes screwed up and didn't download episode 8 of the Ruby podcast, and I can't find anywhere to download it individually from the site. So, um, could someone email it to me? Info is on my profile. :)

ZBS Foundation will be podcasting all of Ruby 1 starting on 15th November, 2005. Mark your calendar and load up your podcasting subscription soon.
» ZBS is now offering MP3 downloads
Sorry if this is a bit on the blatant plug side of things, but I thought you all might be interested to learn that we've just enabled ZBS's web site to support MP3 downloads. Coming soon will be daily podcasts of the Ruby adventures just like back when they were on College radio.
